Vintage Nettleton Shell Cordovan Longwings
The shell cordovan is easy to recognize - see how the leather rolls, rather than creasing? Shell is the leather from the rump of a horse; it’s quite expensive but exceptionally durable, and almost never needs more than a brushing to shine. Nettleton were an American manufacturer who ceased production in the 80s, though the name was licensed for a bit thereafter. High quality shoes.
They’re my size, they’re gorgeous, and that’s just about as cheap as you’re going to get horse-ass leather anywhere, especially in such good condition.
