Ad Astra!

Now that I’ve had a few days to chew over my experience at MaxFunCon, I might be able to say something other than “Awesome!” about it. Despite the laughing, the drinking, and the making new friends, I took away a few serious lessons from the weekend. The convocation is all about becoming more, and I learned a lot about that:

Dream Big. There’s no reason you can’t be the best at what you do.

Go For It. Everyone at MaxFunCon threw themselves into the weekend with breathtaking abandon. That is so inspiring and helpful to see. Two hundred people without hesitation or fear. Let’s keep that going the rest of our days. The only thing holding us back is us.

Put in the work. I met so many people I admire, and came to admire many more over the weekend. They all work so hard at what they do, and that’s what makes them great. They work so hard that they appear effortlessly capable. They know what to work on and they pour themselves into it.
